Hey, everyone! My name is James and I am offering in person and VIRTUAL tutoring services to the Arlington, VA and the broader DMV community. If you need some help with your math class (trigonometry, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, …) or maybe with SAT/ACT/GRE/AP prep, get in touch with me. I tutor all levels including middle school, high school, college, and graduate level. I also can tutor computer science classes and programming courses (Python, Java, C++, MATLAB, Mathematica, …). I have a Ph.D. in mathematics, taught for nine years (and tutored for many more than that), two of which I was an assistant professor in West Virginia. I also have had professional teacher training (through MAA Project NExT) and am actually a good teacher! I have recently moved on to working in industry and am working on machine learning.
