I’m no Paul Erdös but I do like math! I am James Rohal (people call me Jim) and according to Google, I am a graphic designer, painter, database administrator, and deputy chief. I currently attend Miami University and will be pursuing a PhD program in the Fall. I’ve been to 8 different countries in my life and studied a semester in Budapest.
I enjoy photography and computational mathematics. At some point in my life I would like to work for Wolfram. If you want to learn more about my mathematical interests, check out my research page.
This site is hosted through Vexxhost and runs Wordpress. The theme is a modified version of WPCandy. The plugins I am using include:
- cforms – For my contact form.
- flickrRSS – To display my recent photos.
- Latex for WordPress – I currently use mathTeX.
- Live Comment Preview – For comments.
- MyTwitter – Heavily modified. For microblogging, updates, and in case I need to be saved.
- SyntaxHighlighter Plus – For displaying source code.
- WordPress.com Stats – Site statistics.
- WP_Identicon – For nifty geometric avatars.
